Don't miss the many fun and unique activities coming up. Please add these to your calendars and be sure to sign up on the RSVP forms - let us know if you will or will not attend. This helps us plan and ensures that nobody gets left behind.

You can always check the Squadron Calendar for details, it is HERE

11 June 2016 1030 to 1230: Trip to CAE Pilot Training Facility. Have you wondered how pilots stay current in their training? Have you ever seen the enormous, hydraulic simulators they train in? Join us for this fascinating visit. The staff at CAE are opening their doors to this world-class private training facility so we can learn about careers in aviation and see behind the scenes. (This trip was proposed and planned by cadets!) RSVP for CAE Here. FREE!

13 June 2016 1900 to 2100: Elks West Orange Flag Day Ceremony. Represent the Civil Air Patrol at this once a year event. Learn the surprising history of the flag and participate in the ceremony. RSVP for Flag Day Here. FREE!

14 June 2016 1900 to 2100 Lincoln Park Airport Visit. In lieu of our regular meeting, at the special invitation of our Group 221 Commander, Major David Isom, CAP, we have been invited to tour his plane and a helicopter at the airport. This will be a fascinating opportunity to learn about different aspects of aviation. Parents should plan to stay for the duration. RSVP for Lincoln Park Here. Do not go to the Red Cross in Fairfield on this evening. FREE!

21 June 2016 Graduation Celebration and Change of Command Ceremony. Come celebrate the graduation of several of our cadets, wish them well as they head off to their next endeavors, and participate in our change of command ceremony. Do not miss this special meeting!

25 June 2016 1000 to 1730 Intrepid Visit. What could be more interesting than touring the Space Shuttle? We will take the ferry from Weehawken to the Intrepid, tour the Space Shuttle, have lunch and explore the museum. This is a Friends & Family Event! (This trip was proposed by cadets!) RSVP for The Intrepid Here. COST: $28 per person. Contact Major Rogacki if you need financial assistance.
