Group 221 Special Drone Presentation, 25 March, 2019

posted Mar 13, 2019, 9:15 AM by Alisa Vural
Come to the Group 221's Special Drone Presentation on Monday, March 25th, 1900-2100 at Teterboro. We will be having a very important briefing on the NJ Wing Small Unmanned Aerial Systems (aka Drone) Program given by NJ Wing Aerospace Officer, Lt Col Mike Castania. Please accept this special invitation! RSVP either Yes or No HERE. The event will be at CAP Group 221 Headquarters, 90 Moonachie Ave, Teterboro, NJ. We will arrange a carpool as needed from the American Red Cross, departing at 1800.

Watching the news you see that drones are everywhere, often performing innovative and positive work, and sometimes being operated irresponsibly and posing a great public danger. CAP is now entering this new world and the technology promises to greatly enhance our mission capabilities.

At this meeting we may also get to talk about the 2019 Wings & Wheels planning, a great Volunteer Service opportunity. The show is scheduled for June 15-16 at Essex County Airport.  This is an important and fun event that many of you have supported in the past.  It is the main fundraising activity for the New Jersey Aviation Hall of Fame and Museum, a non-profit organization that preserves the aerospace heritage, contributions and accomplishments of New Jersey.

Participating in CAP events outside of our squadron gives you the opportunity to meet other CAP members, learn new things, and experience more of the fun that CAP offers.

Let's have a great turn out from Curtiss-Wright Cadets & Senior Members!

Again, please RSVP either Yes or No HERE.
